Historical Hall - 1806

Moved to its present site in 1837 by twenty yoke of oxen,
Historical Hall was the impetus for the founding of the Bedford
Historical Society. In 1916, a group of citizens purchased the
building to preserve it and prevent it from being turned into a
tenement. It has been improved and maintained by the Society ever
since and is used for private parties, meetings and exhibitions.
