LOUNSBERY BUILDING - 1906

Also of Greek Revival style, the store adjoining the Post Office was put up by Richard P. Lounsbery to replace a nearby one that had been burned down. It was the village A & P for many years. In 1972, it was purchased by the Society along with the Post Office.  It was home to Village Green Antiques and from 1993 to 1997 the historical society had its offices on the second floor.  The building is currently leased to the Horse Connection & Barbour Country Clothes.
