Membership
Membership is open to all who share an interest in the Town of Bedford and its heritage.
Our members are protectors, preservationists, stewards, advocates – people who care about the Town of Bedford and its heritage. People just like you.
By becoming a member, you will join your neighbors in preserving the historic character – the look and feel – of Bedford. From the first purchase to save Historical Hall in 1916, to the listing of the Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, the Bedford Historical Society has been the guardian of the original settlement and an active participant in village life. As Bedford changes with the times, its appeal remains timeless.

Membership contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Other forms of charitable giving are available and appreciated such as provisions in wills, pooled income funds, gifts of appreciated securities, and charitable remainder unit trusts. We also encourage corporate sponsorship of events and exhibits enabling your employees and company to benefit from unique marketing opportunities.
